As a Game Leader, your job is to keep the game fun, fair, and flowing!
Here’s what you need to focus on:
Before the Game
Check in at the Clubhouse – Meet the Match Official to pick up a match ball.
Introduce yourself – Say hello to the Coach/Manager so they know who you are.
Get the two team Captains to scissors-paper-rock to decide which way they will run.
Check safety – Make sure all players are wearing shin guards and no caps.
Player Check – Make sure teams have the right number of players on the field (4).
During the Game
Keep the game moving – Let play flow and give instructions on the run.
Be clear & confident – Blow your whistle loudly so everyone knows you’re in control.
Encourage & support – Praise both teams and remind kids to have fun!
