PLAYER INFORMATION

For the information of Players
Camden Falcons Football Club participates in a competition provided by Macarthur Football Association each year from their home ground at Belgenny Reserve, Camden.  The competition generally runs from March until August/September.

The opportunity to play football is available to children from the Under 6 age group to Under 18 age group, and also to adults in the M-League, All Age, and Over 35 competitions.  Children are placed in teams according to the age that they will turn during a calendar year.  To be eligible to register for the Winter season, children must be turning a minimum of 5 years old during the calendar year. Select the registrations option in the players menu to register.

  • In the under 6 to under 11 age groups boys and girls combine to take part in the Small Sided Games initiative introduced by the Football Federation of Australia (FFA) in 2009. Click here for more information on Small Sided Games
  • The under 12 to under 18 age groups take part in full size 11-a-side teams on full size fields, in a division graded competition (except for u12 Girls which follow the u11 format)
  • Beginning in under 12, girls must play in all girl teams, in an all girl competition.

Our M-SAP program will hold trials for U8 , U9, U10 and U11  players in early November. Watch our Facebook feed for further information

Training & Game Times

SSG & Junior games are played on a Saturday.

The time of games will depend on the field availability at the ground which you are playing and are generally between approximately 9am to 1pm, however, they can begin as early as 8.30am and run until as late as 3-4pm.

Senior Games, U16 & U18 Girls, M-League, and Ladies games are played on a Sunday, anywhere between 9am and 5pm.

Teams will usually train for about an hour one night each week, sometimes twice a week for older teams.  Training at Belgenny is available every night of the week but your team training night and time will be allocated at the discretion of the coach’s availability and parents’ ability to get the children there.  Training nights and times need to be determined and agreed to by the team as there are many teams to juggle field space for, over the space of the week.

All Falcons players need to purchase black playing shorts and black & red Falcons playing socks from the club canteen.

All players in the Macarthur Football Association are required to wear soccer/football boots and shin pads to EVERY game and training session, for insurance purposes.  Soccer/football boots and shin pads are usually available at the beginning of the season from sports and shoe stores in the local area. Studs must be moulded not metal.

Club Jackets, caps, beanies, and much more merchandise is also available from our online store
