At Camden Falcons Football Club, we’re more than just a club—we’re a community. A club built on passion, teamwork, and the incredible generosity of volunteers who make it all happen. Without them, we simply couldn’t run!

That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that our Game Leader Program is BACK for the 2025 Winter Season—all thanks to our amazing volunteer, Joel, who has stepped up to run this valuable program. 👏 A huge thank you also goes to Sarah, who did an incredible job coordinating the Game Leaders during Summer Soccer 2025. She’s now off lapping Australia, and while we’ll miss her, we’re so grateful for everything she’s done for our young referees! 🚐🌏

What is the Game Leader Program?

If you’ve ever watched our U6/U7 games, you’ll know how much fun they are! But they also need referees—and that’s where our Game Leaders come in. This program gives kids (aged 10-14) the chance to develop confidence, leadership skills, and communication abilities, all while earning some pocket money! 💰

Each week, our Game Leader Co-Ordinator will:
✅ Organise availability & schedule Game Leaders for matches
✅ Provide training and regular check-ins
✅ Ensure our young refs are supported throughout the season

What Does a Game Leader Do?

The main role of a Game Leader is to keep the game moving, limit stoppages, and help young players learn the game in a fun, supportive environment.

A great Game Leader should be:

✔ Confident in speaking to both kids and adults
✔ Loud & clear with their whistle! 📢
✔ Encouraging & patient—kids are still learning!
✔ Approachable & enthusiastic
