A fun-first introduction to team football for young players in Camden and surrounding areas.
MiniRoos at Camden Falcons FC is where your child’s football journey begins! Designed for kids aged 5 to 11, our program focuses on fun, friendship, and building strong football foundations in a safe and inclusive environment. Whether your child dreams of scoring goals or simply wants to play with friends, MiniRoos is all about helping kids fall in love with the game from their very first kick.
Our teams train once a week at Belgenny Reserve and play non-competitive games against other local clubs during the MFA Winter Season (April to August). Both mixed (boys & girls) and girls-only teams play on Saturdays.
With small squad sizes to maximise participation and plenty of encouragement from coaches and parents, it’s the perfect way for kids to stay active, build confidence, and make lifelong friends.
The perfect first step into football! U6 and U7 games are all about fun, learning the basics, and getting lots of touches on the ball. With no goalkeepers and small-sided teams, kids are always involved and encouraged to enjoy the game in a relaxed environment.

Muster Day is held to organise players in the U6 to U7 age groups into teams where required, identify coaches and managers and ascertain training nights. Players MUST be registered before attending Muster Day so that they can be included in the numbers of each team.
Muster Day will be held in February at the clubhouse at Belgenny Reserve. (dates confirmed on socials).
Returning teams in U8-U11 will generally not be required to attend muster days as new players will be added by the registrar to top up numbers if needed.
Teams typically train for approximately one hour on one night each week. Training will be held across the following fields: Belgenny Reserve, Nugget Beams Reserve, and Onslow Oval. This rotation helps rest Belgenny Reserve to maintain its condition throughout the season.
Training nights and times will be allocated based on coach availability, parent availability, and field access.
Mini Roo’s small sided games (SSG) are played on a Saturday. The time of games will depend on the field availability at the ground which you are playing and are generally between approximately 9am to 1pm, however, they can begin as early as 8.30am and run until as late as 3-4pm.
It is possible that your child’s team will play at any of the fields utilised by football clubs in the Macarthur area. (Campbelltown, Camden & Wollondilly).
