At Camden Falcons, we’re proud to be a grassroots, community-run football club that supports players of all ages — from the very first kick through to competitive junior and senior football.
But let’s be clear:
MiniRoos football is not competitive — and that’s exactly how it should be.
MiniRoos is a national initiative for kids aged 4–13, designed to introduce young players to the game in a fun, inclusive, and pressure-free environment. It’s football, but with the focus on:
✔ Learning new skills
✔ Being active
✔ Building confidence
✔ Making friends
✔ Falling in love with the game
This is small-sided football — tailored to the individual, not the scoreboard. Unlike traditional 11-a-side matches where results and team tactics dominate, MiniRoos puts the player at the centre. Every pass, every goal, every moment is about development, not results.
🏆 But what about trophies and competition?
Don’t worry — there’s plenty of time for that.
Once players reach junior graded football, competition kicks in. Teams are graded, results are recorded, and yes — trophies are earned.
But in the early years, we’re here to nurture enjoyment, build physical literacy, and create the foundations for a lifelong love of football.
That’s why:
🚫 Match results for MiniRoos games are not publicly published.
🚫 There are no ladders or points tables for Under 6 & 7.
✅ Any recording of results is only used behind the scenes to help match teams for fair and fun experiences.
